This is a very well made sofa. I don't find it as small as some of the reviews said. I only lost a few inches from my larger old fashioned Broyhill sofa. I live in a house not an apartment, but I can't see how it would be appropriate for a smaller space. It is super easy to put together with just a little bit of" brain " power, I don't think you even need the instructions. ;) I got the royal blue and it is gorgeous! The pictures don't do the color justice. It looks a little lighter blue in the pics and it's actually a bit of a deeper blue. I put it together yesterday afternoon so I haven't allowed anyone to sit on it yet. I am dying to sit on it and I kind of snuck a little "sit when no one else was looking. Mom makes the rules so I guess I can break them. Lol. I'm letting it breathe. I know it says 48 hours but the cushions on mine at least puffed right up when I unsealed the vacuum packing. The footstool is gorgeous, large and so cozy. I will not be allowing shoes on that! The hinges on the couch storage are heavy duty and well made. Although the legs are plastic, they are a high density strong plastic and they slide across the wood floor without doing damage which I think is better than the older style of furniture. But if you are worried you can always buy pads to put underneath each leg. Although the foot rest is large and well made it is not at all heavy , which is a plus for moving it around. The seller contacted me as soon as it was ready to ship and explained in detail that it would come in two boxes. They made sure I was aware that both boxes might not come on the same day. Very good communication. I got lucky and the second box caught up with the first and they were delivered together. I don't think there's any need to worry if that doesn't happen in your case. They are heavy, so maybe try to be around when they are delivered and ask nicely, I am sure your UPS driver would be happy to lift them up steps. I'm in a ranch house so I don't have a lot of steps. I can imagine those boxes are heavy going up a lot of stairs. You'll definitely need a couple people to help with that if that's the case. There is velcro on the underside of the back cushions, the seat cushions, and the footstool cushion. It is good and strong and keeps all of them in place very well. I know it says 48 hours but I don't think I can wait. I will definitely be sitting on it after 24. The seat cushions are well made and I believe they will hold up for quite awhile. You're not going to sink deep into this couch. It is definitely medium firm to firm. However, not at all uncomfortable. I believe you could lay on this and take a nap if you are 6 ft tall or under. The arm rests are extremely well made and should hold up well. All in all a wonderful experience. I love this sofa. Remarkable that you do not need a single tool except your own two hands to get it together and yet it is so sturdy! 5 stars for sure!

Beautiful blue velvet…quality construction. Perfect size, fits a small space. Cushions are plush; easy and fast assembly.

The fabric pieces come vacume sealed and you can see every coil in the seat. The back cushions are wrinkled. It took me an hour to steam the wrinkles and they did not all come out. The day after I bopught this there was a $200 coupon available but was not good toward previoous purchases. Its nice quality but over priced
