25-12-2024What they don't tell you, here or on the Columbia.com website, is that the Kruser Ridge III jacket has a low-pile fuzzy lining that is bonded to the outerfabric.It is not a separate layer.It looks like a fine polar fleece or sweatshirt lining.This will make it warmer than if it was just a single layer of knit polyester.That can have its own pros and cons, depending on the temperature outside and one's needs or expectations.Also the fit is a bit snug.I fall right between the Medium and Large sizes.My three other Columbia jackets are all Mediums and they have enough room for sweaters.This jacket does not.I love that Columbia sleeves are longer than other brands.For this reason, I have several jackets made by them.Their products wash well and hold up well over time.I'm, giving it four stars based on my prior experience with the brand and the fact that the fleecy type inside isn't disclosed anywhere.
