09-09-2024I am so pale that having emergency sunscreen in my purse at all times is a must.I really hated carrying bottles that could leak or solid bars or roll ons that didn’t feel like they were covering all of my face / felt greasy.I found this little miracle in a Buzzfeed article and am wishing I found it sooner.I like the smell (it does smell more like sunscreen than makeup, but the smell is light and pleasant to me).I also like the smooth feel of the powder, as well as the ease of putting it on.It is the perfect size to throw in my purse and go.I have not had leaking issues like some other reviewers, but I plan to secure mine with a piece of tape as someone suggested when I travel with it.All in all, I really love this as a very compact solution for either a replacement for SPF makeup (if I don’t feel like putting it on just to run a quick errand) or as an added layer of sun protection for impromptu outdoor activity / sun exposure.Highly recommended.

09-09-2024I just love this powder. It smells so good (just like their sunscreen, if you like that smell!) I always wear a lotion sunscreen on my face and I add this powder on top so I don’t have that shiny look from sunscreen alone. I can’t comment on how protective it is alone, but I love knowing I am not oily/shiny looking from lotion sunscreen and this just feels like an added extra layer of protection. The container is truly convenient for throwing into my purse or bag and it doesn’t make a mess at all.

09-09-2024The clear bottom of the bottle that holds the powder screws off by spinning counter-clockwise (if you're holding it with the bristles upwards), and the white ring below that also unscrews separately, by spinning clockwise. So you need to be careful with that. But also, do NOT try to unscrew it while it's full! The powder is filled inside the white part, not just the clear bottom. I like it, though it is a little hard to tell if it's coming out, but then I can smell it on my face. It has the same scent as other Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens, which I like. Being powder, it doesn't leave a shine, which is really nice. It's not big but since it doesn't put out alot at a time, it may last a decent amount of uses.. we'll see. Seems to do it's job
