Be sure to read the description.This is FDA approved and has been effective in thinning/removing my hair. It is easy to use and takes time to see the full benefits. 11-12-2024ITEM:Sextupole Hair Removal Device with Ice Cooling Care Function (White)PROS:Fairly easy to figure & use (and with an extensive warning list that's a must-read prior to first use), with multiple settings for a variety of levels of intensity. Without the Cooling Care Function, I would be extremely reluctant to use this device even at the lowest levels I stick to.CONS:There's supposed to be a light that appears when the device is ready for use once it's fully in contact with skin, but it's impossible to see this light when I'm trying to use the device on my own upper lip area. I had to assume it was lighting up, since it was working.FINAL THOUGHTS:The set even includes protective eyewear, though I'm not sure of its effectiveness so I close my eyes during use as well, when it's near my face. The device looks well-made, not flimsy. This was my first time trying IPL, so I'm still fairly reluctant to go past the lowest settings. It takes repeated use to show efficacy, so it's not a one-and-done deal. But I did notice pretty quickly that the stubborn hairs that persist in coming back to my upper lip area either lessened or took longer to grow back even after just a couple uses. But definitely avoid this device if you fall under one of categories warned against, since this might be for in-home use but it's still a medical-grade device & requires every precaution is taken.
