11-12-2024I was hoping for a "transparent" powder that wouldn't leave a powdery look on my face, and could be pressed into the pores a bit -- boy did I find it and thanks to all the other review(ers) who influenced my purchase!Since Estee Lauder stopped carrying my DoubleWear Light foundation (and none of its new stuff even comes close) I switched to the $15 Cerave Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen spf 30 Sheer Tint at the recommendation of my dermatologist. Love it, and it offers spf which EL didn't. It's amazing, however, it does leave adewy look I don't like. Cue this finishing powder!!To apply it, I bought the Sephora Mini PRO Foundation Brush #70.5, which I figured I could use with gentle taps to set this powder in (no swiping circles like a normal powder brush, and no blotting with a foam applicator) and it is PERFECT. BEYOND my expectations!! I wouldn't use this as a brightening powder for under the eyes, but for my purposes this is a home run, esp with this brush. (The compact does come with an applicator but I prefer to tap the powder in with the stubby brush). I have exactly the outcome I wanted.

11-12-2024The tiniest bit works to hide pores all day, so use sparingly (it lasts forever!). Can be used alone or over moisturizer for a quick, polished look. As close to a perfect makeup product as I’ve found.
