I guess I’m pretty hard on watches. For about 50 years now I’ve been buying inexpensive pocket watches, and some last and some don’t. I started with old mechanical Bullseye watches for about 2-3 dollars apiece and have worked my way up to the 10-15 bucks for the new battery powered ones that have taken over the market today. Either I get them wet or they get mashed into something or something else happens, or they just plain don’t last very long. I bet I’ve gone through 20-25 by now, but this is the first one that had a cracked crystal right out of the chute. I don’t know how it got that way: it was well packaged and in otherwise great condition. But the crystal was cracked right through. I thought about returning it, but with my record on watches I figured I might just as well stay with it until it quits. With my luck this one may outlast them all. But if you’re after a perfect watch at a cheap price, you might want to try elsewhere.I received an unsolicited response from the seller expressing their regret with the damaged product and offering to send another, which they did. Today I received another watch in perfect condition. In my book, this experience represents a the type of seller that everyone wishes for. An excellent online shopping experience!

Watch keeps good time.After 6 months the battery died.Getting the case open was difficult.My old fingers then couldn't get the battery out without pulling the whole electronic module off the face of the watch.That caused the clock's hands to fall off, and they are behind another metal plate.But I liked the watch and bought another.Perhaps I'll have better luck next time replacing the battery.
